It is also well known for Kumbh Mela considered as the largest festivals in India but one should stroll around the place not during the festival to witness the beautiful glimpse of city. I am going to share some of the fascinating experiences during the trip to Prayagraj.

It is a sight to behold when sunset wind caresses the face with mild humid. The Ganga Aarti mesmerises you with its elaborate and elegant dance of lights n melodious bhajans. You are drawn to a different world of experience. A must watch!

Khusro Bagh

Mughals certainly knew how to build beautiful gardens, whether for religious or aesthetic purposes. The Khusro Bagh, located near the railway station of  Pray raj is an evidence of their refined sense of aesthetics. The garden is a historical site, and one of the heritage attractions that you must visit in Uttar Pradesh. It houses the tombs of Khusro Mirza (the eldest son of Jahangir), Shah Begum (the first wife of Jahangir) and Princess Sultan Nithar Begum (the daughter of Jahangir). All three of them were buried in this mausoleum complex during the 17th century.

Chandrashekhar Azad Park

For park lovers, one shouldn’t miss Chandrashekhar Azhad Park comprised of many blocks including Company garden. It also called Alfred Park, is located at the heart of the Allahabad city. It is not only the biggest and most beautiful gardens in the city, but also witness to an important incident of India’s freedom struggle during the last century. Evening is the best time to visit the park and flower show happens on first week of February every year.

Lord Curzon Bridge

I never anticipated to see such beautiful architecture of double storey rail-road bridge- which was constructed in 1905 for the transportation. It has so much history to be shared with the world and efforts have begun to transform the historical bridge into a Ganga museum. One can visit this architecture marvel during dawn hours to experience the pleasant climate.

Anand Bhavan

At a distance of 5 km from Allahabad Railway Station, Anand Bhavan was the ancestral home of Jawaharlal Nehru located in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. Situated in the Allenganj, it is one of the must-visit places during prayagraj tour.

Anand Bhavan was constructed by Indian political leader Motilal Nehru in the 1930s to serve as the new residence of the Nehru family when the original mansion Swaraj Bhavan was transformed into the local headquarters of the Indian National Congress. The house was beautifully adorned with wooden furniture imported from China and Europe and was decorated with various artifacts from all around the world.
